This watch looks great (exactly as pictured). It has an appearance that is unique and can be dressed up or down. I think the look of the watch is great. However, the one I ordered arrived with a loose pin in one of the links. We quickly realized that the pin wasn't just loose, the top of it was bent and therefore would not secure in the link at all. However, we needed to add in a link because the watch was a little tight on my husband's wrist, so we used the pins from the extra links to replace the bent one. At this point I will make another note that my husband's wrist is about average for a man, no overly small and not overly large. The watch fit but it was VERY tight, and it did not come with any extra links, so we had to contact the company and wait for them to mail us an extra link (thankfully they sent two so we had an extra pin to replace the broken one). We would have returned the watch but since we needed an extra link anyway, it seemed easy enough to replace the pin at the same time. However, then we also noticed that the screw that holds the band to the watch was loose. This is a screw with an extremely shallow hex type head (you'd have to see to believe how shallow it is), so it was very difficult to get that tightened back. Now that we've got that tightened, things seem to be working fine, but we're watching it to see if something else will come loose. The watch was packaged very well, so I don't think the issues could possibly have occurred during shipping. In summary, this watch really does look great, but ours arrived with several issues, and if they had all presented at once, we would have just returned the watch.I did a lot of research before buying this watch because no two photos look alike. In one photo it looks like a gunmetal matte finish and in another it looks all black. I went ahead and ordered it hoping for the best. The truth is, the watch looks like all of the photos. It is a shiny black finish that changes color depending on the lighting and the room you are in. Sometimes it looks bronze, sometimes gunmetal, sometimes black, but always very cool! The blue tint of the crystal adds a subtle elegance that is really eye-catching, but not in a flashy way.The leather links seem at first to be somewhat cheaply clad, but after a month of wearing it daily, there doesn't seem to be any of the peeling or wear that I was cautious about. Because of the black on black on black, the watch can be somewhat hard to read in dark settings, but I knew that going in, this monochrome look was what I wanted. It could benefit from a button-activated LED backlight or something similar though.My whole goal was to get a watch with a big face (the style now) but without all the flash and busy looking complexity of the other watches on the market now. I have to say this watch is EXACTLY what I was looking for and I couldn't be happier. It's stylish and trendy, but in a subtle, elegant way that isn't pretentious.One of the most versatile watches in my collection. A fairly large face, but it is considerably thinner and lighter than others in this size range - I have some Invictas and Diesels that are beasts for sure. I was looking for something that had a bit of an organic flavor, with metal and leather and this one with gunmetal case and the wide wristband is perfect. The leather covers on the band links are really a nice design. Goes with everything. Well balanced on the wrist. The simple face is perfect and super readable for a chronograph. My only complaint is that the subdial markings are just a bit too subtle. I makes for a very clean look though. Really like it a lot, and it gets a lot of wear every week. I am impressed with the Vestal designs overall, and this one is just perfect for what I needed.This is a really beautiful, and stylish watch -just don't expect to see what time it is in low lighting. The arrows are black, and so is the background, which makes them difficult to see; but who cares, it looks hot. The description states that it has leather, but I don't see any leather on it. The strap is made of metal and plastic. It's bigger than I expected, but I like it, looks manly. The watch features a timer, which is why it has those two extra buttons. One problem I have with it is that when I bend my wrist inwards, the strap sometimes clicks open as my wrist touches the opening button. For those who want to know the country of origin, it's China.Pros: Black on black looks nice. It has a built in stop watch. The leather banding is a unique look.Cons: This watch is very large. The face is almost as big as my wrist. It can be hard to tell the time in low lighting. Most likely you will have to get the watch sized. The clasp isn't very strong.I'm happy with it, but if I had seen it in a store I never would have purchased it.Firstly - It looks great. The plexi does get loads of comments.The plexi is quite a large watch, with good weight and is clearly quite well put together. The latch mechanism can be a bit cumbersome. Forget about reading the time. Absolutely impossible to read and I have on more than one occasion struggled to return to standard time keeping from stop watch mode. Despite a few down sides, I'm entirely happy with it.I just received this watch yesterday. It is so much better looking up-close than on the web and for the money you can't beat it. I just showed it to a friend of mine who wears a Breitling watch and he's going to buy 2 of them (acetate black and gunmetal)! Its very masculine and fashionable. The color is something between dark brown and black, I can't quite describe it but its gorgeous. I spent over 3 hours surfing ebay and amazon looking for the right watch and came across a few Diesel and Nixon watches that I kind of liked but this one blows them away in every category.
